The birth of my daughter has taken my love of photography to an entirely new level. My photos capture life's moments through the eyes of a mother who understands that every minute of our lives is precious.
I have to admit that I was the person who avoided the portrait studio at the mall for many, many years. I never liked the way I looked in the photos and could never re-create a genuine smile for the camera. I absolutely dreaded the idea and ended up missing out on years of memories when my husband and I were dating.
A few years ago, I was inspired by a photographer in Dallas who went to my sister-in-laws home and photographed the very real moments that took place in their own home- my three year old nephew as he was throwing a fit and her newborn baby laying on their bed as comfortable as could be. I immediately fell in love with this unposed, unscripted, real-life photography and look forward to sharing it with you and your family.
I graduated from Madison Highschool and received my B.A. from St. Mary's University in 2005. I've been married to my best friend, Scott, for four years and have a beautiful daughter, Ariana, who was born in March 2010. In the few months I spent home with her, I took over 1,000 photos of her and cherish every single one!
